Diagnostics
Diagnostic services are performed to identify the cause of engine or system issues through inspection and testing. Common diagnostic concerns include:
No-start or hard-start conditions
Stalling or rough idle
Overheating or warning alarms
Loss of power or performance issues
Fuel delivery concerns
Ignition or electrical problems
Charging system issues
Cooling system faults
Once diagnostics are complete, all findings are reviewed with the client. No additional work is performed without prior approval.
Maintenance services
Routine maintenance helps prevent breakdowns, extend engine life, and improve overall reliability. Maintenance services may include:
Oil and filter service
Fuel system inspection
Battery testing and charging system evaluation
Cooling system inspection
Water pump and impeller service
Belt, hose, and clamp inspection
Electrical system inspection and corrosion checks
General operational checks and verification
Maintenance recommendations vary based on engine type, usage hours, and manufacturer guidelines.
Repairs & authorization
Repairs are performed only after proper diagnostics and client authorization.
If additional repairs are recommended, we will:
Explain the findings
Review available repair options
Obtain client approval
Proceed with authorized work
Parts & deposits
Parts are billed separately from labor
A parts deposit may be required before ordering
Special-order and electrical parts may be non-returnable depending on supplier policy
Invoicing & payments
Invoices may be due daily at the end of each workday to continue services
Unpaid balances may delay scheduling or continuation of work
Cancellations & access
To avoid delays or rescheduling issues, please ensure:
The vessel is accessible (keys, battery switches, engine hatches)
The boat is safely secured and available during the scheduled service window
Marina or facility permissions are arranged in advance
Late cancellations or reschedules may result in a service call charge if dispatch has already occurred.
